Book Whit Merrifield

Whit Merrifield is a second baseman/outfielder for the Kansas City Royals. Whit attended the University of South Carolina from 2008 to 2010, helping the Gamecocks win the 2010 College World Series just before he was selected by the Royals in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. Whit signed with the Royals, worked his way up through the minors and made his MLB debut in 2016. Whit has led the American League in stolen bases in 2017, 2018 and 2021. In 2018, Whit led the entire MLB in hits (192) and stolen bases (45). A two-time All-Star, Whit holds the longest-active consecutive-games-played streak at 687 games heading into the 2022 season. He is baseball’s current “Iron Man” and a fan favorite in Kansas City.
