Tim Parker is a center back for and captain of the Houston Dynamo. The Long Island native played four years of college soccer at St. John’s University, captaining the Red Storm as a senior. Tim was selected 15th overall in the 2015 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by the Vancouver Whitecaps. Tim spent three seasons with the Whitecaps before he was traded to the New York Red Bulls, significantly helping solidify their back line. After three seasons with the Red Bulls, the Houston Dynamo traded for Tim, and he quickly earned the captain’s armband. Tim has also been called up to the United States Men’s National Team, making his debut in June 2018.
Off the pitch, Tim enjoys golfing, spending time with his fiancé and their dog. Tim is very social, and in addition to meeting new people he appreciates good food and finding new restaurants. In the future, Tim could see himself coaching soccer at the collegiate level or using his finance degree to step into the business world. Tim truly is a people person and a leader.
