Taryn Bushrod is a 2018 Forbes Fellow and Baltimore native who graduated from Morgan State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing. She went on to receive a Master's of Science degree in Financial Management while working as a Contract Specialist for the Defense Logistics Agency. She also holds a certificate in Behavioral Finance from Duke University.
Her journey to becoming a Money Mindset Coach began at an early age with the teachings of sound money principles from her Grandfather and Father. After years of helping friends and family manage their funds she decided it was time to help others learn what she had learned about money on a broader spectrum. In 2017, Taryn launched a platform to help millennials understand their relationship with money and spending habits so they can take control of their finances and create a lifestyle that doesn’t break the bank. She has since transitioned back into the sports arena by helping professional athletes improve their relationship with money.
Taryn is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
