Tangi Miller is an actress, model and dancer. Originally from Miami, Florida, Miller was the oldest in a family of six children. She began acting in high school for school plays, but later would become a marketing major at Alabama State University. Upon graduating, Miller began pursuing a career in acting, which was her real passion, first earning her Masters degree in Fine Arts.
Her acting career took off when she appeared on the HBO Comedy Arli$$ in 1996, and then on the CBS show Michael Hayes the following year. Later, Miller would gain notoriety for her role as Elena Tyler on the hit television show Felicity. Later, Miller acted in a number of movies, with roles in The Other Brother, Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood, and Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion. She also appeared in a 1999 music video as a dancer for Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Got Your Money”.
Off screen, Miller has worked as both a producer and director, producing the Ghanian film Police Officer 3, the film After School, and the film Love and Other 4 Letter Words in 2006. In 2017, Miller worked as a director on the movie Diva Diaries.
