Confident. Calculated. Cheeky. These attributes, among others, give Song Yadong an aura befitting of the objectively incredible nickname "Kung Fu Monkey." But Song has more than just a cool nickname to be proud of. Raised in Heilongjiang, China by a single mother, Song began training in mixed martial arts at the age of nine and made his professional debut at the age of 15. By his 20th birthday, he would make his UFC debut, where he has since enjoyed success in both the bantamweight and featherweight divisions. Many UFC pundits think Song has the potential to be a top contender for years to come. He fights out of Sacramento, California for Team Alpha Male and lives with his wife and son.
