Shamiel Gary is an inspirational former NFL player committed to investing in the next generation through professional speaking and community service. When he’s not playing on the field or speaking to auditoriums of students, Shamiel spends his time as an entrepreneur focused on real estate, mentoring, and writing a children’s book with his daughter, Kaidri. As a senior at Booker T. Washington High School, Shamiel had coaches who didn’t believe in him. After the state championship, he received his only football scholarship from the University of Wyoming. Shamiel transferred to Oklahoma State University to be closer to his family while his grandmother battled Alzheimers disease. After graduation in 2014, Shamiel entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the New England Patriots. He played four seasons with the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills. Shamiel is an author, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. He has Ignited Elite Performance too over 100,000 people at school assemblies, chambers of commerce, student council conferences, Ted Talk Speaker, Corporations, Head Start conferences, FCAs, and juvenile detention centers.
