Sabrina Moon is a dynamic and influential leader dedicated to transforming organizational cultures through courageous leadership. As the founder and CEO of the Problem Solving Institute, Sabrina has made a significant impact in various industries by providing leadership development and communication training. At the Problem Solving Institute, Sabrina and her team are committed to developing authentic leaders who can navigate the complexities of modern workplaces. They employ and develop clients in an 8-step problem-solving method inspired by Toyota's renowned techniques, ensuring practical and sustainable solutions to organizational challenges. This method not only addresses immediate issues but also fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Sabrina's role as a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator involves teaching leaders how to embrace vulnerability, build trust, and cultivate resilience. Her sessions are known for their depth and practicality, equipping leaders with the skills to have difficult conversations, make value-driven decisions, and recover from setbacks. By integrating these principles, Sabrina helps organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership, fostering environments where individuals and teams can thrive.

Beyond her workshops, Sabrina has been a featured speaker on multiple platforms, including interviews on popular podcasts like "My Favorite Mistake" “Big Self Podcast” and "The New England Lean Podcast," where she discusses the importance of courageous leadership and effective problem-solving.

Sabrina's passion for leadership development is matched by her ability to connect with diverse audiences, from industrial sectors to law enforcement agencies. Because of her background as an engineer and operations leader inside Norfolk Southern, BNSF Railway, Amtrak and General Motors, her experiences in traditionally male dominated spaces help her audiences connect with more grit and relevance.  Her goal is to help organizations build more courageous cultures that are prepared to face the challenges of today and tomorrow.

    Testimonials

"The Dare to Lead work and Sabrina at Problem Solving Institute have had such a huge positive impact on my life, personally and professionally. Sabrina has an amazing gift for connecting and empathizing with others, made stronger by her technical and operational background. She has trained over 200 employees at TVA, helping us access our courage and compassion as we deal with difficult situations and an ever-changing world. The entire team at Problem Solving Institute is amazing, and I strongly endorse them as a resource for building stronger cultures."

"Getting shot at takes courage, no doubt; that's why law enforcement trains for that possibility. However, I am far more likely to engage in a difficult conversation or have a conflict with a community member or co-worker than be in a deadly force situation....why don't we train for this? The points and lessons I gained in Dare to Lead™ training are as useful as any other training I have attended in my career; it taught me how to talk and, more importantly, it taught me how to listen."

"Moving through the Dare to Lead™ event, I developed a new awareness of the behaviors that might be holding me back and gained insight into how choosing courage by being vulnerable can end fear-based patterns. Sabrina was an excellent facilitator who quickly connected with participants, providing an engaging and impactful experience. I will definitely attend another event by Sabrina and am eager to learn more from her!"

"Sabrina has taught me skills I can really apply to life as a business owner and leader. Not just presented the skills and tools—but taught me how to apply them and I already had a few success stories as a result! I will continue to attend as many of her events as I can. (Already been to three!)"

"Sabrina walks you through life-changing questions in an inviting and kind manner. You discover things about yourself that were buried and you learn how to find the courage to get where you want to go."

    • Are there any moments that stand out as having a significant impact on your career? My failures and setbacks have taught me way more than my successes. They have taught me about who I want to be and how I want to show up for other people.
