Robert Mathis is a former NFL defensive end/outside linebacker. The Atlanta native attended Alabama A&M and in four years with the Bulldogs he became one of the most dominant defensive players in NCAA I-AA history. Robert was selected in the 5th round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, the only team he would suit up for in an illustrious, 14-year career. Robert was a key contributor on the Super Bowl-winning 2006 Colts team, and he would develop into a 5x Pro Bowler. At his peak in 2013, he was a First-Team All-Pro, the AFC Defensive Player of the Year, and led the league in sacks. Robert’s 123 sacks are still a Colts all-time record. One of the most splendid pass rushers in the history of the game, Robert currently serves as a pass rush consultant for the Colts.
