Robert Covington is a professional basketball player for the Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Tennessee State Tigers, and went undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft. He signed with the Houston Rockets after playing with them during the summer league in 2013. Over his NBA career, he has played for the Philadelphia 76ers, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Houston Rockets. In 2018, he was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team.
