Cornelio brought an impressive pedigree to TCU, having earned four varsity letters at Pine Creek High School in Monument, Colo., where he was ranked the #1 draft prospect in the state as a high school senior. Riley was also named the Gatorade Player of the Year for Colorado and considered one of the top 50 prospects in the 2019 draft. Cornelio chose to honor his commitment to TCU, where he is emerging as a force on the Horned Frogs pitching staff. He is a weekend starter averaging better than a strikeout per inning and flashing power stuff that should play well at the next level.
