Rakeem Boyd is former University of Arkansas running back and was a 2021 NFL Draft Prospect. Boyd began his collegiate career at Texas A&M before transferring to Independence Community College (Kansas) of Last Chance U fame. After rushing for 1,211 yards and 14 TD in 10 games, he committed to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. In his three years at Arkansas, Boyd rushed for 2,176 yards and 13 TD on 389 carries. The 6′, 206-pounder from Houston, TX, rushed for 309 yards and 3 TD as a senior before opting out of the rest of the season to prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft. In May 2021, Rakeem signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions. He was later released by the team and remains an NFL Free agent.
