Plaxico Burress is a former wide receiver for the Michigan State Spartans where he was an All-American second-team and an All-Big Ten Conference first-team selection. He was selected eighth overall in the 2000 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers but also played for the New York Jets and the won the championship with the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII. After retiring in 2013 Burress also served as a coaching intern for the Arizona Cardinals in 2017.
