Nick played high school ball at Beckman (CA) where he had the good fortune of playing with his two brothers: Matt, who was the Reds first-round pick in 2021, and Sean, who is starting for the ASU Sun Devils. The switch hitter was a three-time Preseason Underclass All-American and considered one of the top high school outfielders in the state before choosing to attend UCLA. Nick profiles as a strong offensive player with good pop from both sides of the plate and solid defense in the outfield where he has good speed and a strong arm.
