Miguel Cabrera is a former professional baseball player, first baseman, and designated hitter for the Detroit Tigers in the MLB. Cabrera started his MLB career by signing with the Florida Marlins in 1999, and then later debuted in the majors in 2003. Cabrera left the Marlins in 2007 to join the Detroit Tigers. During his MLB career, Cabrera has been a 12-time All-Star, two-time AL MVP, two-time AL home run leader, and a World Series champion. Cabrera retired with the Tigers after the 2023 MLB season.
