Michael Young is a former MLB infielder who played 14 seasons in the Major Leagues. Young spent the majority of his career with the Texas Rangers before playing 1 season with the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers. Over his 14 big league seasons, Young was a 7x All-Star, a 2008 Gold Glove Award winner, and the AL batting champion in 2005.
Since his retirement, Young has worked in the Texas Rangers front office as a Special Assistant to the General Manager. In 2016, Young was inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame. In 2019, Young's No. 10 was retired by the Rangers.
