Malcolm Brogdon is an NBA point guard and shooting guard. Brogdon played college basketball at the University of Virginia. During the 2016-2016 season, he was named the ACC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the first player in conference history to earn both honors in the same season. He was selected in the 2nd round of the 2016 NBA Draft by the Bucks. He went on to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, becoming the first-round pick in the NBA to win the award since 1965. In 2019, Brogdon became a restricted free agent, and he signed with the Indiana Pacers. He played three years with the Pacers before playing a year for the Celtics and then the Blazers. In the 2024 offseason, Brogdon signed with the Washington Wizards on a 2-year contract.
