Leilani Mitchell is a WNBA point guard for the Washington Mystics. She was born in Australia, but made her way to the US for college where she played at the university of Idaho. She was drafted 25th overall in the 2008 WNBA draft by the Phoenix Mercury. Mitchell is well-known for her gritty play style. She is also a good shooter and skilled ball handler. Mitchell has had a long career in which she has earned her way off the bench and into a starting role as well as leadership role. She also has represented her country on the Austrialian Olympic team.
