Armstrong put up a career year in 2021 for the Gators and hopes to capitalize on that momentum in 2022. The son of former MLB pitcher Jack Armstrong, Kris set career highs in ’21 in hits (41), home runs (8), RBI (30), and runs scored (23). Armstrong’s .535 slugging percentage in 2021 was second on the team behind Jud Fabian, the 54th overall pick in that year’s draft. His talents are as good in the classroom as they are on the field, as Kris is a three-time Academic Honor Roll honoree.
