Dr. Jose Morey, is called the first Intergalactic Doctor, is an Eisenhower Fellow, Chief Medical Innovation Officer for Liberty BioSecurity, CEO and Founder of Ad Astra Media LLC, and Director of Innovation and Chief Engineering Council/Innovation Lead of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies. He is the Senior Advisor to the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology CORD19 Project and is Senior Advisor to the NASA AI Breathing Space Initiative.
He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, Medical Technology and Artificial Intelligence Officer for NASA iTech, and mentor with MIT Solve, IDEAS Global Challenge, and MIT 100K Entrepreneurship Competition - Accelerate. He previously served as the Associate Chief Health Officer and Senior Medical Scientist with IBM Watson Health.
He is an AI Ambassador for DeepLearning.AI, serves as a member of the American Board of Radiology, Xcertia-American Medical Association, Aerospace Medical Association, The Space Foundation and The Planetary Society. He is on the Board of Directors for Medical Society of Virginia as well as the Virginia Chapter for the American College of Radiology. Dr. Morey is faculty at Singularity University and sits on the education admission committee for the Space Foundation and on the admissions committee for the Space Technology Hall of Fame.
He is an international speaker on AI and technology innovation and has given talks to NASA360, the Radiologic Society of North America, HIIMS, Academy Health, Health Datapalooza, Tech.Co, Frost & Sullivan Executive MindXchange, Stifel Nicolaus Healthcare Investment Conference, the Chinese Medical Association, and the Senate of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
