Jonnu Smith plays tight end for the New England Patriots. After four seasons at Florida International University, Smith was taken with the 100th overall pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2017 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with Tennessee before signing with the New England Patriots to play for legendary coach and tight-end guru Bill Belichick prior to the 2021 season. On the date of its signing, his contract with New England made him the third-highest paid player at his position in the NFL. Away from football, Smith is a devout Christian and is involved in his local church community. He also has a son, Jaiyen.
