Jason Richardson is a former professional basketball player who played 14 seasons in the NBA. In college, Richardson played for Michigan State, winning many awards, such as First-Team All-Big-Ten, Second-Team All-American, and NCAA Championship. In 2001, Richardson was taken at the fifth overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 2001 NBA Draft. Along with playing for the Warriors, Richardson also played for the Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, and the Philadelphia 76ers. In the NBA, Richardson was a two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion, becoming the second player, after Michael Jordan, to win the competition back-to-back and NBA All-Rookie First-Team. Richardson was a part of the Warriors team that famously upset the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the 2005 NBA Playoffs.
