Jared Quay Campbell is a native of Denver, CO, and was born and raised on the dangerous streets of the Mile High City in 1989 to Charles and Nateal. Jared grew up in a big ol' family of 10 people, including his parents, 5 older brothers, and 2 older sisters. Jared’s loving attention developed his ability to be funny, always cracking jokes at the dinner table, and imitating family members was sure to get a laugh. Yet, it wasn't until 2010, his junior year of college, that Jared decided to get into stand-up comedy.
But it's hard to balance being a top-flight football star on the University of Miami football team’s bench and rocking the mic on comedy stages nightly. So he decided to put comedy on hold until he hung up the cleats. So three years after getting on stage for the first time, after graduating from college, going to the NFL and being cut, countless pointless girlfriends, and a lot of wasted days playing video games, Jared decided to get back on stage.
After months of maturing as a stand-up comedian, Jared decided to make the move to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of making films and telling jokes. Since being in LA, Jared has created two mini-series, Mackin' N' Hangin, and 99 Wishes, as well starring in the short film #JNMM, speaking roles on FXX "The League" and several "Funny or Die" sketches, as well as a CBS Network Sports Correspondent.
So stay tuned to Jared as he continues to bust wigs and crack helmets on the field… Wait a minute, I’m sorry I was still in football mode, stay tuned as I, I mean Jared, continue to rip stages and put out great videos to keep y'all laughing and tweeting about. God first. God bless.
