Jalen Pitre is a safety in the NFL. He was drafted 37th overall by the Houston Texans. After a standout career at Baylor University, Pitre drew the attention of NFL scouts. While at Baylor he was All American first team, Big 12 Defensive player of the year, All Big 12 first team, and was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe award, which awards the best defensive back in the country.
He will play his rookie year with the Texans starting in September. He has drawn comparisons to a couple players in the NFL like Budda Baker and Tyrann Mathieu.
