Jacy Sheldon was selected 5th overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Dallas Wings. She is The Ohio State Buckeye Women’s Basketball top scorer and a humble team leader. Coached by her Dad, Jacy’s high school awards include the Ohio Coaches’ Association Player of the Year in 2019, first team All-Ohio honors 3 years in a row, and Ohio Ms. Basketball runner-up in 2018. Jacy leads the women’s team in points and is on her way to breaking records at Ohio State. Jacy was AP All-American honorable mention in 2022, All-Big Ten first team, and All-Big Ten defensive team. She averaged 15.1 points per game at OSU, tallying up 1,281 points and counting. She’s the first Buckeye women’s basketball player since 2017 to earn AP postseason honors and led the team to their first postseason appearance since the 2017-18 season.
