Hunter Dozier is a third baseman/outfielder for the Kansas City Royals. The Texas native played college baseball at Stephen F. Austin State University, and he was selected by the Royals 8th overall in the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft. Hunter made his MLB debut in 2016, and in 2019 he became one of only 9 players to hit at least 26 home runs and 10 triples in a single season since 2002.
Hunter and his wife Amanda have two children, with a third on the way this summer. Last year, Hunter and Amanda helped to raise over $15K for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Kansas City. The couple also created Hunter’s Heroes, their foundation dedicated to ending the abuse, exploitation and trafficking of children.
