Henry Friedman's life changed when he rescued his dog Finn from the streets of Puerto Rico. He brought Finn home to the US, where the pair's adventures traveling cross-country in a van were closely tracked by a cult following on Instagram. Today, the account Henry manages for Finn has more than 215k followers. Henry used the attention he and Finn were receiving as an opportunity to tell their story and advocate for the benefits of animal rescue. Thus, he founded Finn to the Rescue, a nonprofit focused on bringing awareness and donations to an organization doing exceptional work with animals. Each month, he and Finn travel by van to the site of their partner organization, showcase and promote their work via social channels, and collect donations. In 2021, Finn to the Rescue raised more than $150,000.
