Francis Ngannou is a professional mixed martial artist who fights in the heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Originally from Cameroon, Ngannou is known for being the hardest recorded puncher in UFC history and holds knockout victories over Alistair Overeem, Cain Velasquez, Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski and others. As of January 25, 2021, he is #13 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings and #1 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.
Outside of the Octagon, Ngannou is a philanthropist and the founder of the Francis Ngannou Foundation, which runs the first MMA gym in his native Cameroon, aiming to offer facilities for young people to have a place to train and feel like someone cares about them.
