Evan Engram is an American football tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He formerly played for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He played college football at Ole Miss and was drafted by the Giants with the 23rd pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was the second tight end to be selected in the draft, after O. J. Howard was selected 19th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Engram was selected to upgrade a Giant's tight end core that only had three touchdown receptions last year. On June 15, 2017, the Giants signed Engram to a four-year, $10.71 million contract that includes a signing bonus of $5.93 million and is fully guaranteed.
