Eduardo Núñez is a former MLB infielder from the Dominican Republic. Eduardo was a 2016 All-Star and won the 2018 World Series with the Red Sox as the team’s primary second baseman and shortstop. Núñez hit a three-run home run in his first at-bat of the World Series.
He was signed by the Yankees as an international free agent in 2004. He would make his Major League debut in 2010 for the Yankees and stayed with the organization until 2014. Núñez has also been on the Twins, Giants, and Mets. Over his 10-year career, Eduardo has totaled over 700 hits, 58 home runs, and 142 stolen bases.
