Eddie Jackson is a safety for the Baltimore Ravens. He formerly played for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. The Florida native played both wide receiver and cornerback at Boyd Anderson High School and was recruited by the University of Alabama, where he played cornerback his first two seasons. Eddie made the career-defining transition to safety for his junior year, and he fittingly ended that very productive 2015 by winning Defensive MVP of the national championship win over Clemson. Although a broken leg cut his senior season short, Eddie was selected in the 4th round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, and it did not take long to show what a steal he was. Eddie was voted First-team All-Pro in 2018 and went to back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2018 and 2019.
In 2019, Eddie founded the Remain to Reach organization, which aims to mentor adolescents who have been in the criminal justice system before the age of 18. Motivated to make a difference after his own experience as well as what he witnessed with his friends growing up, it is Eddie's goal to ensure the youth that he directly works with never return to prison or jail.
