Dont'a Hightower was an inside linebacker for the New England Patriots of the NFL. He played college football for the University of Alabama, was recognized as an All-American, and was a member of two BCS National Championship teams and was selected by the Patriots in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Hightower, who is noted for his versatility, can play both middle and outside linebacker. He won Super Bowl XLIX, Super Bowl LI, and Super Bowl LIII with the Patriots.
Dont'a has been selected to the NFL Pro Bowl twice in his career and is extremely engaged in various community causes including the American Diabetes Association and One Family Scholars, which helps to provide a college education for single parents who need assistance.
Hightower played for the Patriots until 2021 when he retired from the NFL. In 2024 Hightower returned to the Patriots as an inside linebacker coach.
