Diamond Miller is a critical piece of a Maryland program with hopes of a deep postseason run in 2021-22. The 6'3 guard earned First Team All-Big Ten honors as a sophomore in 2020-21 and scored double-digit points in each of Maryland's three tournament games. A dynamic scorer, she averaged 17.3 PPG while shooting 50.6% from the field during the season. With two seasons left in her collegiate career, she is already generating buzz about WNBA prospects.
Miller is from Somerset, NJ, and prepped at Franklin High School. She was New Jersey's Gatorade Player of the Year and a McDonald's All-American as a senior in 2019. Her father Lance played in college at Villanova and professionally overseas, and two of her three siblings play or played in college.
