Devyn Flaherty is a softball player currently playing for the Florida State Seminoles going into her senior season. A Sarasota, FL native, she attended Riverview High School, where she was nominated as a 2019 HT Preps All-Area Softball Player of the Year Finalist. She then signed with Florida State University, appearing in all 24 games, including 22 starts, in her first season (which was shortened due to Covid-19). She finished with an astounding 0.333 batting average, with four doubles, team-leading three triples (good for 21st in the NCAA), three home runs, 16 RBI, and 17 runs scored. In her second season with the Seminoles, Devyn had a huge year, where she started all 63 games and finished the year finding herself a spot on the All-ACC freshmen team and the All-ACC first team. In her third season, she had another phenomenal season, starting all 61 games and ending the year with a batting average of 0.335. She also found herself on the All-ACC second team and the All-ACC tournament team. Devyn looks to continue her dominant play in this upcoming season with the Seminoles.
