Darnell Washington plays tight end for the University of Georgia. A five-star recruit out of Desert Pines (NV) High School, Washington turned down offers from Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee to play for coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs. As a true freshman in a shortened 2020 season, Washington posted 166 yards on 7 receptions. In his second season, he posted 154 yards on 10 receptions, also scoring his first NCAA touchdown in the SEC Championship Game. Due to his size and strength, Washington is considered an NFL prospect.
