Testimonials

Dan was our afternoon keynote speaker and facilitator/designer of our advisory board. He immediately energized the group and got to laugh, learn and play. There’s few better people to enlighten and engage a group of people.

Dan’s positive energy, great ideas and ability to get a group to laugh and play got us really great engagement, ideas, and feedback. You definitely exceeded expectations as promised!

We loved how Dan’s morning keynote inspired the entire USP organization, including our CEO, to rethink how we cope with our constraints. But the best part was the phenomenal feedback we received from our staff on the afternoon workshop that made the lessons real and practical. We are looking forward to having you do more extensive training.

Dan showed us that thinking innovatively about problems isn't just a capability or skillset, it must also be a formal practice with the appropriate time and attention dedicated to it. A masterful speaker and facilitator, Dan lead us through an incredibly productive and inspiring session that challenged us to look above the horizon to see opportunities right in front of us that we’d been missing.

Dan did a tremendous job engaging and educating our leadership team on Deliberate Innovation. His expertise was apparent. He inspired us to think differently about our strategy and the way we innovate inside our organization.

Best event Ever! All thanks to Dan’s inspirational talk and guidance. I have had multiple people approach me today and tell me they heard that we had a fun and successful workshop. They even asked to be invited if we do another one (who asks to attend a workshop??)

"Dan provided the keynote at my annual Global Innovation Summit. He blew the team away. If you are looking for a world-class, innovation speaker, you are making a mistake if you do not engage Dan. He made our summit a huge success."

"Dan is consistently the best moderator in the game. He is a skillful master that provokes, inspires, and objectively navigates the widely varying perspectives, all with a great blend of humility, subject knowledge and respect for people."

"Dan Seewald speaks the language of design thinking!"

"Dan's talk sounds like really sage advice coming from someone who has been where we need to go."

"Dan's energy and passion for the subject and ability to speak to a breadth of topics from the nitty-gritty of good survey design to innovation more broadly was impressive."

"Dan Seewald totally gets the role of innovation for traditional biz! He even has that whole Tony Robbins thing going on!"

Dan’s keynote talk was Ted Talk material. He's a born presenter.

Dan provided the keynote at my annual Global Innovation Summit. He blew the team away. If you are looking for a world-class, innovation speaker, you are making a mistake if you do not engage Dan. He made our summit a huge success.

Dan was our keynote speaker at the graduation and celebration awards ceremony at NJIT. His speech was not only inspiring, but also realistic and full of excellent advice. After the event, several upper level managers asked for a recording of his speech to share with their colleagues and families. As many of my students told me, 'he was amazing!'"

Yesterday’s session was hands-down one of the best presentations that I have sat through! It was well worth my time and I would have been very content had it been longer. Thank you for taking the time to present to our team and for sharing the materials! I will be listening to the replay!

  • What is your favorite quote? "It ain't what you don't know that gets you in trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so." - Samuel Clemens (aka. Mark Twain)
  • Are there any moments that stand out as having a significant impact on your career? At 18 years old, I was invited to give a talk to 100 high school students. It was unnerving AND exhilarating at the same time. In that moment, I knew what I wanted to be when "I grew up"
  • Outside of your profession do you have any hobbies/interests? I LOVE to spend my "non work" time coaching. While in college, I was a HS wrestling coach and instantly fell in love with mentoring and teaching. I continue to coach and mentor children today
  • Who do you look up to as a mentor and why? I've always been inspired by the writer, Mark Twain. He started as steamboat pilot and had the courage to chase his dream and become a writer. Perhaps one of the greatest writers of all time!
  • Is there anything else we should know about you? My talks are rooted in real experience and insight. Not platitudes. I've walked a mile in your shoes. I know what it takes to think differently.
