Claire Curzan, an American swimmer and Olympian rose to fame as she was an Olympic silver medallist in the 4×100 meter medley relay during the 2020 Summer Olympics. Claire holds an array of records, including the junior world records in the long course 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter butterfly, as well as the 50-meter butterfly and 100-meter butterfly. She is also an American record holder in the 50-meter backstroke and 50-meter butterfly, further solidifying her status as a swimming prodigy.
As a 15-year-old at the 2019 World Junior Championships, Claire Curzan secured medals in three individual events, including silver in the 100-meter backstroke and bronze in both the 50-meter and 100-meter butterfly. Currently in College, Curzan initially committed to Stanford University but later transferred to the University of Virginia, joining a team with a stronger history of success.
