Claire Curzan, an American swimmer and Olympian rose to fame as she was an Olympic silver medallist in the 4×100 meter medley relay during the 2020 Summer Olympics. Claire holds an array of records, including the junior world records in the long course 50 meter freestyle and 100 meter butterfly, as well as the 50 meter butterfly and 100 meter butterfly. She is also an American record holder in the 50 meter backstroke and 50 meter butterfly, further solidifying her status as a swimming prodigy.
As a 15-year-old at the 2019 World Junior Championships, Claire Curzan secured medals in three individual events, including silver in the 100 meter backstroke and bronze in both the 50 meter and 100 meter butterfly. Currently in College, Curzan initially committed to Stanford University but later transferred to the University of Virginia, joining a team with a stronger history of success.
