Chris Williamson is a cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL. Williamson was drafted by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Minnesota. Williamson originally committed to the University of Florida out of High School over offers from Michigan and North Carolina, but transferred to the University of Minnesota in 2017. In his senior year, Williamson was a key part of Minnesota's 11-2 record and helped them achieve their highest AP Poll ranking in over 50 years when they finished the season at #10 after defeating Auburn in the Outback Bowl, a game in which Williamson led the Gophers in tackles.
