Channing Frye is a former American NBA basketball player, playing power forward and center. He played collegiately at the University of Arizona, and was drafted 8th overall by the New York Knicks in the 2005 NBA Draft and played two seasons in New York. He went on to play for the Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Los Angeles Lakers before retiring after the 2019 season. He won the 2016 NBA Championship, alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Since his retirement, Frye has joined the Turner Sports family as an NBA Analyst and is the co-host of Handles on NBA TV. He is also active on Podcasts, co-hosting the Talkin' Blazers podcast with Dan Sheldon on NBC Sports Northwest breaking down all things Portland Trail Blazers. Frye also co-hosts the Road Trippin' Podcast, presented by Uninterrupted, with fellow NBA Champion Richard Jefferson and Allie Clifton, where the trio and a special guest tell never-before-heard stories and share some laughs.
