Before attending Washington, Davis grew up in Upland, California where he rushed for 3,328 yards and 42 touchdowns in a three-year varsity career. Davis helped lead his High School team to a 12-3 record and lead them to the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Championship. Davis was a 4 star running back coming out of High School, and he earned a large amount of Division 1 offers coming out of High School.
