Brooke Otto is a defender for The Ohio State University Buckeye Women’s Soccer Team. Otto played competitive soccer for Ohio Premier ECNL, and she was named ENCL first team All-Ohio Valley Conference in three different seasons. She was also picked to participate in the ENCL national selection game. Otto’s head coach at Ohio State, Lori Walker-Hock, believes that Otto will have an immediate impact as a freshman for the Buckeyes’ back line. She says that Otto “is a special defender who is capable of playing with either foot and has tremendous range of passing from the back” and “is capable of stretching the opposition’s defense and is very accurate on her set piece services from both corners.”
