Brian Geltzeiler has been a financial advisor working out of New Jersey for five different Wall Street firms over his 27 year career. In 2010, he took his passion for NBA basketball and his connections in the basketball world to establish the now dormant website Hoopscritic.com
Brian became a regular radio guest, appearing on both national and local shows across the nation on a regular basis in addition to regularly writing NBA columns for the website. He was also a TV contribution on SNY in New York City. In December of 2013, he received his big break from Sirius XM when they offered him his own show on Sirius XM NBA Radio. Brian still hosts that show, NBA Weekend, every Saturday and Sunday morning from 7-10 AM ET with former NBA Coach of the Year Sam Mitchell. He also hosts one or two additional times per week on other shows on the platform. He also regularly covers NBA All Star Week, the NBA Draft and NBA Summer League for Sirius XM NBA Radio.
In 2016, Brian started as an on air contributor for NBA TV as a studio analyst on their nightly pregame show “10 Before Tip” and remained in that role for 3 seasons. The show was canceled in 2019, but Brian continues to contribute at NBA TV as a guest analyst on their flagship show Gametime, with a focus on the trade deadline and the NBA’s busy free agency season. He also contributes to NBA TV’s gambling content as well.
