"Boomer" Esiason is a former American football quarterback and sports analyst who played in the National Football League for 14 seasons, primarily with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was selected by the Bengals in the second round of the 1984 NFL Draft, where he spent 10 nonconsecutive seasons. He won the NFL MVP in 1988 and was selected to the pro bowl 4 times over his career.
