Raised on islands and diversely educated, Bill has always been focused on solving human as well as technical problems. Throughout his tech career, he has built products, teams, and solutions for mobile, recruiting, e-commerce, social media, and now education. He has helped companies ranging from Google and Walmart to hotels and restaurants.
While most people know of and admire Ferraris, Bill spent seven years tuning and testing Ferraris after college. The shop he worked with serviced thousands of exotic cars for Silicon Valley enthusiasts. Social anxiety was the first hurdle Bill had to overcome to earn this adventure. How did Bill get into tech?
He volunteered to help a friend's startup - making two sales calls. This led to a role in sales, learning to code, and ultimately installing the first ski cameras in Tahoe. Imposter syndrome was one of the walls that Bill had to overcome to succeed in this role.
How did Bill get into Mental Wellness? Building high-functioning teams has been fundamental to Bill’s success. He took his leadership responsibilities seriously and spent every free minute researching, learning, and ultimately practicing deeper levels of leadership skills. A few years ago, during an interview with a mental health clinician, he learned that his leadership skills are also the gold standard for clinical interventions in Mental Health. That interview turned into a partnership and HAERT was born.
HAERT is leveraging 30 years of deep research into common mental health issues. Teaching prevention skills that both supercharge careers and innoculate us against depression and anxiety. These are also the best relationship and parenting skills we can find.
