Antawn Jamison is a former NBA forward who played 16 NBA seasons for many NBA franchises. Jamison played his college basketball at North Carolina and was named the national player of the year in 1998. He was selected 4th overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 1998 NBA Draft before being traded on draft night to the Golden State Warriors. After the Warriors, Jamison went onto play for the Mavericks, Wizards, Clippers and Lakers. Along the way, he won the NBA 6th Man of the Year award and was voted to 2 All Star Games.
After his retirement from the NBA, Jamison worked as an analyst for Time Warner Cable SportsNet and as a scout for the Los Angeles Lakers before being hired by the Washington Wizards as their director of pro personnel in 2019. Jamison is also the founder of the A Better Tomorrow Campaign and partnered with national non-profit KaBOOM! to promote play among children across the country.
