Alysha Clark is a guard who last played for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA. Born in Denver, and raised in Mt. Juliet, TN, Clark attended Belmont University for two years then moved to Middle Tennessee for another two years. In that span, she was Player of the Year in each of her four years (2x Atlantic Sun Player of the Year and 2x Sun Belt Player of the Year). According to WNBA.com, she is the first NCAA basketball player, men’s or women’s, to win player of the year from two different conferences. She led the entire NCAA in scoring in her senior year, setting a school record with 27.5 points per game. Clark then entered the 2010 WNBA Draft, where she was selected 17th overall by the San Antonio Silver Stars. Since 2012, Clark has played for the Seattle Storm, where she has helped them win two WNBA Championships. She is both a lockdown defender and a deep range threat - as she unanimously made it to the 2020 WNBA All-Defensive First Team and shot a scorching 52.2% from 3-point range.
