Aljamain "Funk Master" Sterling is an American mixed martial artist signed to the UFC. Sterling fights in the Bantamweight division and holds the title of current UFC Bantamweight Champion. Sterling holds an impressive record of 20 wins and 3 losses and has won 7 of his last 8 fights. Born in Uniondale, New York to Jamaican parents, he went to SUNY Morrisville, studying accounting, before transferring to SUNY Cortland and getting his B.A. in Physical Education. Sterling is also the host of his own podcast "The Weekly Scrap" where he discusses everything UFC.
