Alexander (Alex) Munoz is an MMA professional currently competing in the UFC's lightweight division. A former wrestler at Oklahoma State University, Alex began to train for fighting in 2016 after being recruited by Johnny Hendricks to join his team. Alex fell in love with the sport and left his job in veterinary sales to pursue a career in the UFC. His gamble was successful, as he appeared on Dana White's Contender Series (S2:E6), emerging victorious in a three-round unanimous decision over Nick Newell. Alex continues to appear as a contender in various UFC events as he lives his dream life as a professional fighter.
